Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born May 5th 1998. Her 12 WTA singles victories include a Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another sport where she excels. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both won with Elise Mertens. Together with the Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also took home her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in the year 2019, making her the Sunshine Double. Just four pairs of women's tennis had achieved this achievement. Her ranking went from second to third on the World Singles Rankings on the 23rd of August in 2021. The highest ranking she achieved was achieved again in the month of January in 2023. In the same year, she was crowned in Melbourne in the following year, and then moved up to number one worldwide in doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) played her as a coach for the duration of the 2019 season and from 2018 to the closing. Dieter Kindlmann was also her coach for short periods between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has coached her since the year 2020. Her heroes are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
